The CI-AMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage and culture of Americans of Italian descent from the town of Ceglie del Campo, (BARI), the Apulia region. For those who are unfamiliar with CI-AMA, here is a brief description of our organization and a few of our past and ongoing endeavors.

The association operates exclusively for charitable and cultural events. It was founded over 30 years ago by a group of Italian Americans  from Ceglie del Campo now part of the city of BARI, in the Apulia region of Italy.

CI-AMA holds a Dinner Dance on the third(3rd) Sunday of October for the celebration of the patron saint –“Madonna di Buterrito” with a procession and mass to honor the “Madonna”. All  proceeds from any events go toward charitable organizations such as the American Heart Association, Italian Cultural Center, Scalabrini Mission Center, Marklund Children Home, and the Marfan Foundation.
